As a parent, one of the best things you can do for your children, regardless of their age, is to make sure they are comfortable in the water. Young children are naturally drawn to the water, but a pool can be a dangerous place for children that lack essential live saving skills in the water. When children know how to swim and maneuver in the water, they are able to safely have fun in the pool. In our Survival Swim Survival program, Texas Swim Academy’s  skilled instructors guide the children through the process of learning to swim, and help them become confident and independent swimmers in a matter of weeks rather than years.

At Texas Swim Academy, we love teaching survival swim because it gives us the opportunity to work with especially young children to develop their swimming skills. By introducing the kids to the water when they are very young, are instructors are able to make sure they are comfortable in the water and then move onto basic swimming skills. As the children get more and more comfortable in the water,  parents are relieved and become more confident in their child’s abilities as they watch the kids progress so rapidly in such a short amount of time.
