Marie-Dorothy Simonet

I am Marie-Dorothy Simonet, 34 years old and have had my own business for the last 8 years. Teaching kids to survive in the water and building meaningful relationships. In 2019 I became a mother to a true meaning of light “Luka” a visually impaired determined to live little boy. I am blessed and passionate in saving lives and working with kids as young as 3 months old and of all different abilities. I am also a sibling to a 28 year old autistic sister who has motivated me to the direction I chose in life, working with children and also adults and understanding life in many different ways. I currently run a swim school of 200 children in Trinidad and Tobago a tiny island surrounded by beautiful beaches and many backyard pools.

This journey has not only helped me teach many people skills but grow within my own human personal development. I enjoy learning and growing each day. I love seeing proud faces and smiles through every challenge we face, I love everyone to see their true potential.
I found what I love to do and with that getting dressed and hopping into my heated pool isn’t a day at work but yet a day of pure bliss.
