Hello, my name is Yazmin Ramirez-Acocella. I am a certified instructor specialized in infant self rescue and the aquatic director of BORN 2 SWIM AQUATIC ACADEMY, a family oriented swim school dedicated to teaching aquatic survival skills to infants, toddlers and children of all ages so that they may have a LIFETIME OF SAFE FUN IN THE WATER.

BORN 2 SWIM AQUATIC ACADEMY offers proven survival skills training to enable your child to swim, float, and swim in the event that he/she may fall in the water. Through our hands on, one-on-one approach your child is guided through a program that is personalized to their age appropriate level. Few programs are willing to teach children under the age of three. BORN 2 SWIM AQUATIC ACADEMY offers swim instruction to children 6 months and up.

Aquatic Survival Program
Our years of training and hands on experience have allowed BORN 2 SWIM to structure a swim program designed to ensure that your child successfully acquires life saving skills. The results will amaze you!
Utilizing consecutive private lessons, your child will learn to hold their breath, put their face in the water, swim for 3-4 seconds, rotate to a floating position to rest and breathe, then rotate again to a swimming position to continue swimming. Upon the completion of the course, your child will be able to successfully achieve a float from any position and swim to and from parents, pool steps or wall.
