Miss Kristin is now one of our Lead Instructors here at Lakeside and trained in Corpus Christi, TX! Growing up in Marble Falls, she has been around water her whole life. Some of her fondest childhood memories are spending long summer days on the lake or at the pool with friends and family. Her love of lake life led her to race jet skis (3rd in the world), where she developed a deep respect for water and an awareness of the importance of water safety.

After becoming a mother, Kristin discovered infant survival swim and knew immediately that she wanted to share this invaluable, life-saving skill. She is calm, patient, and passionate about teaching children how to be safer in and around water.

“Lakeside Survival Swim was founded in April 2023 after realizing that the closest SSDN instructor to Marble Falls, Texas was over an hour away.

We are part of the Survival Swim Development Network and focus on a very gentle approach with lots of cuddles, games, fun and love! We utilize the “”Swim, Float, Swim”” Technique and will teach your child how to survive in an aquatic emergency.

Drowning is the leading cause of death in children ages 1-4 and if we can do anything to prevent that from happening, we are 100% on board. “
