Nathaniel du Toit
Nathaniel du Toit, founder of AquatiKids, grew up with a pool and was raised to understand the importance of pool safety.
Years later, upon moving his own family to a house with a pool, Nathaniel immediately sought out options for teaching his two young sons to be able to float and swim in the event of an emergency.
He felt that traditional parent – infant swim classes would provide the children with an enjoyment of the pool without teaching them any caution or potentially life saving skills. Nathaniel enrolled the boys in a survival course but grew frustrated with driving up to an hour each way during Atlanta traffic for something he valued very highly.
Deciding the market for survival swimming was underserved yet so important for families with small children, he became certified to teach Infant Aquatics shortly thereafter.
When not teaching swim lessons, Nathaniel enjoys watching rugby, NFL football, and spending time with his family.
